About the Event
Hi Packleaders,
These community pack hikes are a casual, structured walk designed to bring dogs and people together in a calm, natural setting. We’ll be walking the Lower Arroyo Seco in South Pasadena.
Enter through the San Pasqual Stables parking lot and continue to the trailhead just past it—we’ll be gathered there. Parking at the stables is reserved, so please park along the street or in the lot next to the baseball field.
The focus is dogmanship—learning how dogs think, move, and experience the world while simply being out there with them. This isn’t a class and there’s no formal instruction. It’s an opportunity to observe, walk, and learn through shared experience.
You’ll be hiking alongside other dog lovers, giving your dog a chance to move in a group, practice calm behavior in the real world, and enjoy time outdoors together.
These walks are also about community. By participating, you’re supporting my larger mission to take in more dogs for long-term rehab and work toward creating a future facility and rescue.
